Campers are picked up and returned by school bus or mini bus. Transportation in Stamford and New Canaan is as close to your home as deemed feasible by the camp director.   Central pickup is provided in other locations.

All vehicles are driven by professional drivers.  Minibuses that utilize the Merritt Parkway have seatbelts.  At least one Camp Playland counselor is assigned to be the Bus Counselor.  This person helps campers enjoy a safe ride to and from camp.  Campers are never left unattended.

Parents may call to pick up a camper or to make other arrangements.  Due to limited capacity on minibuses we cannot promise that a camper will be allowed to ride another vehicle.

There is always a staff person situated at the Playland entrance.  No one is allowed on or off Playland property without clearance.
